  • A critical bug was found and it was fixed in 3002.2, but needs to be corrected in 3001, 3000 and 2019. A Bugfix release is being planned for mid-December 2020 - more about details will be shared this week
  • There are a few new SEPs to be created and in December the SEPs will get an overhaul in process
  • It is short week in the US for the Thanksgiving Holiday and No Open Hour will be held - last week's meeting notes will be published Monday or Tuesday (Sage has been busy and a bit behind, but will get caught up this week) You can see the video and slides will be posted soon

  • Point Release Date: August 6. This release was delayed to a bug found late in the RC process that caused Salt-api to fail to start. While fixing the bug, we found a problem with the manual process and made a mistake in not getting all PRs labeled for the Point Release, causing the additional delay.

  • SEP #22: Moving old releases to archive.repo.saltstack.com is complete. We have not yet pulled the packages from repo.saltstack.com. Before that happens, there will be advance notice. In the mean time, we suggest that you migrate to a newer version sooner rather than later.
  • Release Status: We’ve taken in 11 number of issues against the RC and closed 8, while others will roll into the .1 release. We're ready to begin packaging.
