This issue doesn't have anything actionable, so I am closing it in favor of the various targeted tickets we have like "Upgrade foo SPKG to v1.2.3." Note that for a quick overview, we now have SageMath listed on repology: https://repology.org/projects/?inrepo=sagemath_develop&outdated=1
