Intra-Rocket Interface System
This document provides information about the IRIS Communications Protocol, version 1.0. The IRIS Protocol is establishes a command and control interface used to allow communications between nodes within a rocket.
- Efficient Data Transfer: Optimized for minimal bandwidth usage and low-latency communication.
- Reliability: Implements error detection and correction mechanisms to ensure reliable data transmission.
- Scalability: Designed to accommodate a growing number of devices in a network.
- Flexibility: Adaptable to various communication scenarios and use cases.
To use the IRIS Communications Protocol in your project, follow these steps:
Using SSH:
git clone [email protected]:s-park21/IRIS.git
Using HTTPS:
git clone https://github.com/s-park21/IRIS.git
- Define payload struct and fill with relevent data
- Define meta data fields
- Fill buffer with data
- Calculate 32-bit CRC
- Transmit data
- Receive incoming data into buffer
- TODO: Add the other steps
TODO: Add image of message format
- Make proposed changes to protocol specification document
- Make pull request
- Make changes to header files
- Make pull request
