The current version of the reference for type-aliases currently claims that you cannot qualify constructors for enums through type aliases, but this is no longer true. AFAIK the only type of constructor that type aliases can't be used for are tuple-structs. tuple-enums, non-tuple-enums, and non-tuple-structs all construct just fine through type aliases.

Thanks! There is a bit more detail in #631 around this. There is a lot more to document here, but I think removing the wrong information is probably a good start. 😄

I'm also a bit confused why alias were implemented for enum variants, but not tuple structs. I couldn't find any discussion around that.
