A note regarding a license for the BCoC? #30

The pdx.rb one we based it on is CC Attribution Share alike (http://pdxruby.org/codeofconduct). I see no reason not to do the same and I'd love it. This must have overseen this issue, thanks @eljojo for bringing it up. And @catalanojuan - please feel free to ping in similar situations :) |
@PragTob perfect! Next time I'll do :) I don't know much about licenses either. I guess if this was based on that CoC, then the license must be equally useful! I'll change it and push again. |
sorry for the delay see the PR ❤️ |
Addressed in PR #140 and merged. Closing. |
I'm not sure if this is necessary or not but I've seen it in other CoCs like:
https://us.pycon.org/2012/codeofconduct/
https://amsterdam2014.drupal.org/code-of-conduct
Both of them use Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. I'm opening this issue as I couldn't find any discussion on this matter in the repo.
I think it might be in favor of the use and distribution of it, but I'm no expert at all.
