add more arithmetic operations

adds more arithmetic operations to unblock the desrel team. Since the UI is not finished, for now I haven't focused on disabling the value when it's not needed. Will do that once aligning with @alxgibsn Diffs= 9324024cc9 add more arithmetic operations (#8862)
