A chat application is a digital platform facilitating real-time text-based communication between users, enabling instant messaging, sharing media, and emoticons.

Built with the purpose of learning Web Sockets with node.js using Express

Prerequisites

In order to run this project you need to install node.js:

npm install -g npm

Setup

Clone this repository to your desired folder:

  cd my-folder
  git https://github.com/rivasbolinga/awesome-chat.git

Install

Install this project with:

npm install

Usage

To run the project, execute the following command:

  npm start
