I've chosen u-root's module because the other alternatives have long been abandoned. For instance the most credible alternative by Google has been archived since 2022. Though, it's up for a debate how much a simple, dependency-free, package requires maintenance. u-root itself hasn't updated the package for 2 years, but overall the project is still kicking.
