always hard to tell what's missing, but I know that there's things missing in the C++ publish script, check https://github.com/rerun-io/rerun/blob/cba8a0f7efc602c0610856fef8f2c0528bb516b8/scripts/ci/bundle_and_upload_rerun_cpp.py

Good catch! My regexp-fu was not strong enough 😞 |

fingers crossed that's all of them!
But one more thing! It's not showing in the migration guide right now!
Also wouldn't hurt to already leave a note in CHANGELOG.md under unreleased so we don't forget about calling it out on the release
What
Why
Supporting Intel Mac is more trouble than its worth.
The recent Arrow update caused a build failure:
arrowto56.1anddatafusionto50#11714 (comment)Since nobody at Rerun has an Intel mac, fixing this issue is difficult. It also means we cannot test the viewer to guarantee it works as expected.
Furthermore, macOS x86 was recently demoted to a Tier 2 target for the Rust compiler (link).
For reference, the first Arm Mac (M1) was launched in 2020.
But I use an Intel Mac!
You can still build Rerun from source (but perhaps not with all features enabled). There are instructions in
BUILD.md.
