Joining this branch/PR to avoid any confusion/conflicts! My tasks:
[X] Don't check subscription status before reading.
[X] Remove writer payout account functionality from Settings screen (keeping verification).
[X] Remove subscription control from Settings screen.
[X] Remove subscription page.
[X] Remove additional unused subscription controls.
[X] Remove Stripe dependency.

See db/org/free for accompanying database changes.
