RTD doesn't support Windows (because of the symlinks logic)

Thanks for the submission!

We've had a few attempts at folks contributing documentation for RTD for Windows support, but as @stsewd mentions, we don't officially support Win* platforms at all. We should probably mention this somewhere in our documentation if we don't already.

Though this doc change is correct, I don't think we want notes on windows support at all in our documentation unless we officially support running on windows.

I get it. I'm working on a project that's running into a similar issue about lack of link support. According to https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa365680(v=vs.85).aspx, "Symbolic links are available in NTFS starting with Windows Vista." You just can't get them on FAT32, which unfortunately most people use.
