[Bug] You can't sign in to this app because Google can't confirm that it's safe. (Nov 16, 2022)

- No workaround is available.
- Maybe someone could find a workaround, maybe not. This is just a cat-and-mouse game with Google

Same problem, I managed to sign in yesterday with my phone. Tried to set it up today on a different Iphone and I cannot get around this issue, I have tried all the known workarounds.

I also tried to disable 2FA on the Google Account, did not help,

Can confirm this issue. Using the latest version of uYouPlus available. Tried logging in on November 16. When using the login shortcut I end up in a sign in loop.

Same problem, though the only reason that its only happening its due sideloaded through altstore on my end. Only work around i've found to avoid this problem is to have both UYouPlus one from altstore just to download videos, While i'll use this one as example Signulous since im able to sign with it and log in and watch the videos there.

Workaround from @AwfulJesse:
What you need to do is type your email and press next on BOTH apps. (Don't put in your password yet) THEN copy+paste the URLs to the short-cut and when the window opens put your password. Then open the uYouplus app and voila.

The account is displayed when I click login， so I choose the account directly to log in, The account number and password were not entered。

It's 12-29-22 and I cannot get this sign in to work. UYouPlus v2 shortcut literally does not work and shoots back and invalid URL everytime. uYouTube Plus shortcut v1 brings you to a sign in page where as soon as you enter an email, it automatically says you cannot sign in because google can't verify safety. I tried this manually, by substituting the flowname from the UYouPlus youtube sign in page with the flowname from the Appstore Youtube sign in link and then trying to sign in on a private safari and firefox browser. Met with "not safe" error.
I have followed this to a tee. I have done the shortcuts with both emails simply typed into the sign in page, but not hitting next. I have also tried putting the email in both youtube apps and hitting next but without entering any password like the instructions say, but the issue here is that as soon as you put an email into the YouPlus Youtube app, you're not met with an enter password screen like on the Appstore Youtube version, you're met with a "cannot sign in... not safe". I still copied that URL along with the Appstore Youtube URL and im still met with the same issue at the end of the shortcut. You cannot backout of the shortcut at the end anyway because the shortcut opens a safari extension within the shortcut itself instead of straight to the browser so as soon as you backout you have to redo it all over again, which doesn't matter because even if it did open an ACTUAL safari window, the shortcut URL doesn't work anyway.

So, this is kinda janky, but I think it could be done on other devices.

1. Install the YT app from the App Store.
2. Install TrollStore
3. Try to install uYou+ IPA with TrollStore. it will warn you that it detects a non-TrollStore installation but will still give you the option to 'force install' it.
4. I was able to log into my YT account with the uYou+ IPA, whereas before it was blocking me.

Edit: OK i"m not even sure if needing to install it over is necessary, as I just installed uYou+ with TrollStore on another device and had no trouble logging in. Previously I had been using AltStore.

Edit2: Sorry, I should clarify. My devices (iPhone SE 2nd gen, iPhone SE 1st gen, and iPhone 7) are on iOS 15.1 and I'm using YT v16.42.3 as the v17 versions just crash.

What’s up? I have tried to login my gmail into uYouPlus version 18.08.1_.2.3.1 but not succeeded. It didn’t work on iOS 16.3.1. Help Please!

It would appear that Google is knowing that some accounts are using this app and it's blocking them. I am unable to sign in with one account on this app but I can sign in with another, same app, everything the same two different accounts one can sign in one can't. I'm assuming that Google are blocking one of them with something on their server, the solution is to create a new account and try to sign in again. If you create a new account using the actual app itself, you will be able to sign in and stay signed in. I also recommend using sideloadly instead, as it is able to overwrite previous apps for more easily than the alternatives, especially if you are using a non-paid for developer account, which only gives you seven days for signing. Hope this information helps.

What I found works is to use two different accounts, then I use the new account on the app for say two weeks then for some reason it seems to drop off on Google's end and then I am able to sign in with that blocked account again, but what I also did was because the notifications weren't working on the latest version, I used the latest version to sign in with both accounts so sign in with one account, then click add account then switch between the accounts. then using sideloadly I downgraded the app to the previous version with the notifications that were working now I have two accounts on the app. I am able to sign in with both of them and I get the notifications working and Google are no longer blocking the account, but there does seem to be a time that you have to wait before the block drops off. I'm not sure how long that is but I would say it's at least 10 days.
