I have some doubts about the title and description. We have at least some extensive tests. Please elaborate what exactly needs changes in your opinion - otherwise there is nothing which can be done with this issue.

Where are the tests for inline images CCF and DCT?

I can use them to close #3048.

AFAIK there are none, but this does not mean that we do not have any tests for the inline image extraction at all as indicated by the title and description.

To be honest, I do not think that there are any benefits of opening this issue despite the discussions in #3048. I have never seen such files in the wild, thus we have to "just" create them ourselves. This is the reason why I am not going to merge the PR as-is - we have the policy to add tests if possible and this is a case where we should (in theory) be able to come up with examples.

I will create tests for CCF and DCT.
