This release contains several user interface improvements, new, beautiful icons, and compatibility fixes for the latest (and greatest) OpenSesame version. Installation is greatly simplified thanks to pip support, and improvements in the underlying library also apply to the OpenSesame integration.

Version 0.8 is probably one of the last releases before the library reaches version 1.0. The library has been battle-tested and should be stable, which is why we've removed the pre-release flag.

This release adds support for replacing clients during the experiment, for example in case of connection loss or client malfunction.

Note that the file attached to this release was defective up to the 16th of June 2016 due to a mistake in the build script. This is has been fixed and should work now.

Pre-release

This is a bugfix release. In particular, Psynteract can now handle experiments in which no roles are specified. The documentation has been extended slightly, and we now include example experiments.

Kudos to Sina Klein and Luisa Horsten for pointing out some issues!

This is our first release, so have mercy on us! In ernest, this has been tested to the best of our abilities and, as far as we can tell, the package works as advertised.

Should you find a bug, or come up with a suggestion, please be warmly invited to send us a line or two. Happy experimenting!
