This repository builds GNU Emacs on Travis CI and packages it as an AppImage.
The AppImage can be downloaded from the Releases page. It should run on most x86_64 Linux distributions with glibc 2.17 or later, which should be most distributions from 2014 and later. To run it, just download the AppImage, set the executable bit using the GUI or chmod a+x, and execute the AppImage.
