Previously, issue #3233 was opened in this project to track this issue. However, that issue was transferred to the spel (as issue #636) project, since the issue is EL8-specific and not strictly tied to anything watchmaker does to EL8 systems. Opted to also update watchmaker documentation since some people will be looking through its FAQs for information.
