This PR is a change broken out of #64.
In order to support Postgres 18, pgrx 0.15 is needed.
pgrx 0.15 changed two things:
I can't change the Rust edition without changing pgrx; and changing the edition and the dependency requires other changes in this project. So, after this is reviewed/merged, I'll make a subsequent change to bump pgrx, the Rust edition, and the code changes necessary.
