  • line 741: write only compares the DEC 1003 state before and after the entire data chunk. If one chunk disables and then re-enables DEC 1003 (so the final boolean equals the cached value), synchronizeMouseTrackingState() leaves lastMouseMotionData intact. The first motion in the new tracking session is then dropped when it encodes identically to the previous session's last packet, so the terminal application can miss a legitimate mouse event. The baseline must be invalidated when either transition occurs, not only when the final state differs. [ Already posted ]
