Problem
Completed file-change rows omit addition and deletion counts even when native Codex, Codex through ACP, and native Claude provide enough information to calculate them. The compact work log does not render the counts, and the adapters leave the existing count fields unset.
Reproduce by asking one of these providers to create a 10-line text file, replace three lines, then delete the file. Expected counts:
+10,+3 / -3, and-10. Investigated in the Windows desktop app.Change
These changes address one missing-count behavior from provider events through the work log, using existing contract fields.
Scope and approval

Verification

Implemented with OpenAI GPT-6.1-Sol through the Codex harness in T3 Code, using Codex ACP initially and native Codex for the follow-up correction.
