ApprovabilityVerdict: Needs Human Approval Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — This production mobile change alters share-sheet navigation, durable share identity, dismissal semantics, and attachment cleanup across several coordinated components. The behavior is covered by focused tests, but the non-additive lifecycle and destructive dismissal path warrant human review. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

…the share Presentation inferred a user dismissal from "the new-task sheet is not on top while the share is still pending". That fired on a cold launch when the first navigate was dropped (navigator not ready) or another route won the race, and it silenced that share for the rest of the process. Nothing ever deleted the inbox entry either, so re-sharing the same content hashed to the same id and was a no-op, and stale entries resurfaced after the next share finished. Track whether the sheet was actually seen carrying the share id (from the nested route params or the navigate payload) and only then treat a closed sheet as dismissal. Until seen, a closed sheet just repeats the request. Dismissal now discards the inbox entry and its files, so the same content can be shared again and old entries stop coming back. Add environment, a notification tap, or an app shortcut push a root route over the new-task sheet without closing it. Treating "sheet not on top" as dismissal discarded the share and swept its files while the user was still in the flow. Look for the sheet anywhere in the root stack instead. …eded sheet's share A rejected discardShare left the share latched as discarded forever, so it sat in the inbox unreachable. Clear the latch and re-run presentation. A newer share arriving while an earlier share's sheet was still open reset the tracked share, so closing that sheet never discarded it and it came back later. Keep tracking the open sheet's share until it closes. Co-Authored-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>

…pers RootStackLayout renders outside NavigationHelpersContext, so useNavigation() fell back to the container ref, which drops actions until the navigator's focus listener registers, and that registration runs after the layout's effect on the first commit. Nothing re-ran the effect afterwards, so a share present at cold launch was never shown. Use the helpers the navigator hands the layout; they dispatch straight to the router. Confirming this happens on the App Store build (iOS app 2.0.0, iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26.6.1). A file I'd shared to T3 Code reopened "Start a task" on every cold launch for days. Dismissing it never helped, and the sheet didn't show what had been shared, so I thought the app just always opened to a new task. It only cleared after I chose a project, which imported the file into a draft. The next launch then surfaced an older share, a .zip I'd shared more than a week earlier, so stale entries seem to queue up indefinitely and come back one at a time. Separately, the imported file wasn't visible in the composer until I sent the message; I've filed that as #21651. |

Taking over this one for batch mobile-03: preserving the original branch, trimming tests, rebuilding against current main, and verifying share presentation and dismissal on a cloud simulator. I will address the same-content re-share identity finding before pushing. No merge. |
…re-reliably # Conflicts: # apps/mobile/src/Stack.tsx # apps/mobile/src/features/sharing/incoming-share-presentation.ts
Incoming shares can be silenced during cold launch, and dismissing their New Task sheet leaves an inbox entry behind. A consumed entry can also share its content-derived ID with a new identical handoff, letting the old sheet's dismissal delete the new share.
Dispatch through the root navigator's own helpers and track whether the actual share sheet was observed. A route covering the sheet is still open; removing an observed sheet discards its addressed entry and schedules ownership-aware attachment cleanup. Give each durable entry a UUID and persist its replay fingerprint separately, preserving crash/replay deduplication and existing stored entries while isolating old dismissal and import callbacks from new shares.
Maintainer takeover of Julius's work in #11488, preserving history and merging main. Current head: 6da7435.
Verification:
Native iOS before/after:
Separate embedded Release builds of the full App on EAS iPhone 17 / iOS 26.5 compare baseline 54983e3 against the current head. Both use the same native inputs, updates disabled, and a read-only diagnostic overlay. No Metro or paired environment is involved; shares come from Safari's real native share target for the public example.com URL.
Before recording: native share, dismissal, restart resurrection · Observed inbox, identity and navigation readings
After recording: native share, dismissal, restart on Home, identical warm re-share
The recordings omit idle time. The repeat handoff clip cuts around an expanded diagnostic panel; disk and receipt findings are recorded separately in the linked readings.
Native Android before/after:
Separate embedded Release APKs compare the same baseline and current head on an EAS Android emulator. They use the same native inputs, development app identity, updates disabled, and the same read-only overlay. Chrome's real native share target receives the public example.com URL; no Metro or paired environment is involved.
Android before recording: native share, Back dismissal, restart resurrection · Android inbox, identity and navigation readings
Android after recording: native share, Back dismissal, restart on Home, identical warm re-share and second dismissal
The recordings cut idle time and expanded diagnostic panels. The full device viewport is retained.
Limits: no environment/project was paired, so composer import, attachments, provider submission and the full consume/import path were not verified on device. The exact consume-A/identical-B race without an intermediate React render is proven by the deterministic regression test; the native repeat-share pass above is a separate scenario. The overlay only observes context, native payloads, navigation and real storage; no synthetic share or consume control was used. All verification sessions were stopped.
Implementation: GPT-6.1 Sol (high); tests: GPT-6 Astra (high), through the Codex harness in T3 Code.
