Shodanz

Shodanz is a modern Ruby gem for Shodan, the world's first search engine for Internet-connected devices. You can refer to some of the websites official documentation which this wiki takes a lot of its wording from.

Using Shodanz, you can effortlessly interact with Shodan's various APIs to do all sorts of awesome things!

🔑 API Key

In order to use Shodan's API, you're going to need to first get yourself a Shodan API key. Then, by default, Shodanz will look for your SHODAN_API_KEY environment variable and use that when contacting any of the Shodan API endpoints.

Usage

💻 Explore the Internet of Things: Use Shodan to discover which of your devices are connected to the Internet, where they are located and who is using them.
