Compile.sh has been rewritten from scratch, and it now has a Windows equivalent (compile.bat).
Getting this to work has required significant changes to the project structure. Lots of .src files were deleted since we can generate them as part of the build process now.
The changelog and appendix sections of the readme were gutted, and information on compiling from source was added.
