Sdrberry needs an external USB audio device to function correctly. To check the status of the audio devices you can use aplay.
pi@pi2:~ $ aplay -l

Select in the setup page the USB Audio Device (or other audio device of choice)
To test the audio device you can generate a tone
ffplay -ar 48000 -f lavfi -i "sine=frequency=1000" -nodisp
