Currently, any user can access the pipes, including any user connected to the host in a local network if SMB is enabled. If password-protected sharing is disabled, this is possible without authentication as well.
The security could be improved by denying access to the group
NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK(as mentioned here). This is what the changes here do.
