I copied the example from the "Quick Start" into my project but ran into this error.
Unfortunately, I’m quite new to Convex and was wondering if you experience the same error when you set up the example yourself.

Additionally, it seems that both getUser and createUser return the type any as their result.

Do you see the same issues on your end?

@realS3BI can you try importing zid from zodvex and declaring the id parameter of the args as zid("users") instead of z.string(), if it doesn't work, you can also try importing Id from your generated Convex types and do ctx.db.get(id as Id<"users">) instead.

Thank you for your advice.
I now how to fix it with "as" and force it to do what I want. But not the very best solution to make it as typesafe as possible.

It seems he is working on solving this problem so I am happy to hack around in the meantime.

I am not that good to fix it myself but maybe make aware of things that are not idealy working. So maybe I can help here a little bit :)

And on the "consumer"-side I also force it to have the right type:

I've worked hard over the last two weeks to fix the type safety issues and make this more ready for consumption, I would love for you to try out v0.2.2 now! There is also an updated readme in the repo with guidance on how to use the project.
