I would be very interesting for me to analyze this democracy dataset, I need to have the more updated date as posible.
Are you going to update 2021 and 2022 info?

Thank you for your interesting in our work and data!

Yes, we at Our World in Data aim to update our own data within a few weeks of the release of new data by the producers of democracy data.

Most producers already provide data for 2021, which you can all find here. We will add the data for 2022 as it becomes available.

Sorry but the last year I see in "bmr_final.csv" is from 2020. In which dataset are you updating?

The variable I want to analyse in particular is "regime_brm_owid" from brm_final.csv

Yes, the Boix et al. (BMR) dataset is one of the few datasets that only goes until 2020. We will update it once a new version becomes available. But we do not know when that will be.

Other datasets, such as Regimes of the World / Varieties of Democracy (spreadsheet here) and the Lexical Index (spreadsheet here) have more recent data. Could these sources therefore be more helpful to you?
