Inquiry on Analyst & Custodian Roles in Global Leaks

Hello!

We are currently evaluating Global Leaks for our whistleblower initiative. During our testing, we identified two well-defined roles: Admin and Recipient. However, we are unclear about the involvement of the other two available roles: Analyst and Custodian.

Could you clarify how these two roles function in supporting the Recipient who works on a case? Understanding their responsibilities would help us assess how best to structure our workflow.

I read about the Custodian role, but couldn't understand how it works within the tool, it seems that custodian have no access to reports.

We will soon document this users but at the moment let me say they are typically not usedul in 90% of the setups.

1. Custodian: is a user useful when you need to collect the identity of your whistleblowers (e.g. for legal purposes). In this case you may define a user of type custodian. Custodians do not access information or identifies but they may authorize a receiver to access an identity on the base of a motivation
2. Analyst: analysts are intended to be able to see only the statistics of the system without having direct access to the data. At the moment statistics are vary limited though.
