GitHub Issues - not possible to filter issues

GitHub Issues page has search bar, but there is no way to actually perform search. I'm pasting keyword with my mouse and I don't know what should I click to search. I don't use keyboard.

@rafrafek i just did a little bit of testing using Voice Control on Mac. Once I entered text into the text field, I spoke the command "press return key" and the form did submit successfully.

I don't use voice control. I just use mouse or touchpad. I copy some word with mouse right click, then I go to the issues page and paste there with my mouse right click. Then I have to go for keyboard, plug it and hit return key, then unplug it and return it. It takes a lot of time for simple issues filter.

Have you ever tried using the virtual keyboard?

• MacOS virtual keyboard
• Windows 11 virtual keyboard

I've just tested the interaction on macOS and it works well. Just use your mouse to click the return key on the on screen keyboard.

Yes, the issue is still there.

How to reproduce:

1. Copy any word to your clipboard, e.g. copy this one --> word
2. Go to any repo with the issues tab enabled and open the issues tab, e.g. https://github.com/microsoft/pyright/issues
3. Paste the word from the first step into the text field using your mouse (right click, then paste)
4. Try to submit the the form without using your keyboard, just mouse.
