Description:

I'm experiencing an error with the GitHub dashboard activity feed. The error message displayed is:

Uh oh!
There was an error in loading the activity feed. Reload this page.

Details:

• Browser: Brave [Latest version] & Github [Mobile Application]
• Operating System: Kali GNU/Linux [version: 2024.3] & Samsung-A22 [4G]
• Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open GitHub dashboard
  2. Wait for the activity feed to load
  3. Observe the error message

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

• Cleared browser cache and cookies
• Tried accessing the dashboard from a different browser and an incognito/private window
• Checked GitHub's status page (All systems operational)
• Updated to the latest version of the browser
• Disabled all browser extensions

Hi everyone,

I wanted to update this discussion with the solution I found for the issue with the GitHub dashboard activity feed not loading.

After trying various troubleshooting steps such as clearing the cache, using different browsers, and re-logging into my account, I discovered that the feed appears correctly when I use the filter and uncheck the "announcement" option & other unneccessory option [As per the need].

If you are experiencing the same issue, please try this workaround.
