Select Topic AreaBug BodyI recently created a new project I wanted to host on achoo.github.io, so I renamed the previous project that was using it, unpublished it, and created a new repo with the website name: The issue is, whenever I try to upload my project it keeps coming up with this error in the devtools:
I eventually tried it with a different project and got the same error, so I just reverted it. I'm stumped. FWIW it works in local, and when I do a build/preview it builds it fine (minus the background). I've looked at a few threads and tried implementing random things like a deploy script from this thread Any help would be greatly appreciated! (P.S the code isn't complete, but I wanted to check if it deployed before finishing it off.) |

Well, I figured it out! Turns out Vite needs a special type of deployment to Github Pages; i.e it's own workflow. In your Settings > Pages, under 'Build and Deployment' use Github Actions as your source. Create your own file and copy and paste this template from the vite website to deploy a static site. Once Github rebuilds it, your site should render :) |
