This is a major Ubiquity update with exciting new features and improvements.

New Features

  • Markdown Table Generator - courtesy of Luka Kerr's mdtg.

  • PDF Export - You can now export Ubiquity's beautiful HTML previews as markdown. Just click the save icon in the header and choose Export as PDF from the dropdown. This will open your browser's print dialog and you can choose to save the file as a .pdf or print it

  • Error Toasts - Ubiquity now provides error toasts to you if an error occurs within the app.

Improvements

  • Added dividers to the text editor header for desktop UI; better screen size handling for the header.
  • Added tooltips to the main app header.
  • Changed the editor font size and preview font size icons to a more easily interpretable magnifying glass icon.

Installation

Linux users, download ubiquity_0.4.0.tar.gz and extract it. You can install Ubiquity to your desktop with the bundled install script. Always verify scripts before running them.

Debian users, download ubiquity_0.4.0_amd64.deb.

For Linux, you may also use ubiquity_0.4.0_amd64.AppImage. However, it is highly discouraged due to its massive file size.

Windows users, download ubiquity_0.4.0_x64_en-US.msi or ubiquity_0.4.0_x64-setup.exe and run.
