@DarshitChanpura I think we may need to close and re-open this backport unless there is a way to merge the latest 2.x changes into this branch.

okay, I will wait until #1428 and opensearch-project/opensearch-dashboards-functional-test#663 are backported to 2.x and then rebase this branch.
