Free open public domain match fixtures & results datasets in the Football.TXT format include:

North America

• United States & Canada - Major League Soccer (MLS)
• Mexico - Liga MX, Liga de Expansión MX

Asia

• China - Super League
• Japan - J. League
• and others

Pacific

• Australia - A-League

Africa

• Egypt - Premiership
• Morocco - Botola Pro 1
• Algeria - Ligue 1
• and others

Middle East

• Israel - Premier League

Build Your Own world.db Copy

Try in your working folder (that is, /world):

$ sportdb build
$ sportdb --verbose build     # or for more (verbose) details incl. debug info

This will

• setup a new single-file SQLite database e.g. ./sport.db
• read in all datasets in plain text (.txt)

That's it.

The football.db schema, data and scripts are dedicated to the public domain. Use it as you please with no restrictions whatsoever.
