I agree with @ordian with the gitflow process for the releases, we should have that branch if we will mantain multiple versions at the same time. About the track nightly/stable didn't we decide against maintaining the auto-updater system in a past call? |
I think we can keep tracks irregardless of the decision on auto-updater. It allows to simply distinguish different binary versions e.g. build locally from master and downloaded from github releases when running |
