The driving behavior prediction task aims at accurately predicting the intentions or the motions of road users (vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, etc.), given the current and historic information of the road users and the environment. In the classic autonomous driving pipeline, the prediction task serves as a downstream task of the detection and tracking, and is closely related to planning. High-fidelity prediction is critical for safe and efficient operation of autonomous vehicles.
