Rename command not working on ubuntu

Hi, there's any way to troubleshoot why the rename command is not working on ubuntu 24.04.3 (wsl on windows 11).

I've tested the same configuration on mac os and archlinux (also on wsl) and the command works just fine.

I noticed this too. There's a brief error screen flashing that says

bash -c: line 1: Unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"'

Perhaps it's related but I'm not sure yet.

The PR I created fixes it for me. You can checkout my branch in the meantime while it waits to get merged.
