This PR adds
gulp-notifywhich gives you OS notifications on errors. I also cleaned up the gulpfile a bit. The gulpfile usesgulp-load-pluginsso you don't have to require installed npm modules that start withgulp-*and I think a few people missed that in recent PR's. So for example,gulp-notifyis required automatically and set to the variable$.notify.
