Hey, I am currently implementing support for "-e hg+..." repos and kind of finished this, which is quite nice. After being finished and testing this with a private hg repo that I cannot share with the world I was not able to find a hg repo that is small enough to make a reasonable test case.
If somebody knows a good repo, please let me know.

initial work was done by @seppeljordan in #101

then I (@garbas):
- rebased on current master
- added support for pinning repositories to branch/revision
- used https://bitbucket.org/tarek/flake8 as example repository
