⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️

  • This is a bug, not a question or a configuration/webserver/proxy issue.
  • This issue is not already reported on Github (I've searched it).
  • Nextcloud Server is up to date. See Maintenance and Release Schedule for supported versions.
  • I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.

Bug description

Using Nextcloud 22.2.3. When sharing a video via link, the control buttons are white and have no background, so they are not visible when the video has a white background itself.

Example: https://nube.alicanteconvivencia.es/s/3pcgosLx9aq89ED

Screenshot of the above example (which is a video of a Duckduckgo search with a white background):

Here's a screenshot of a different video showing the same issue:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Upload a video and share it via public link.
  2. Follow the link and notice that the controls are not visible.

Expected behavior

  1. Upload a video and share it via public link.
  2. Follow the link and clearly see the controls independently of the color of the video.

For reference, video controls are perfectly visible (with a different style) when previewing a video by clicking on it from the Files app.

Sure! I hope the screenshots I added to the original post help, although they look a bit confusing. For better understanding it may be useful to experience it directly via the sample link I provided.
