The QDL Function Reference version 1.5 in the section on the from_json() function includes an example that uses a read_file() function.
The read_file() function appears in examples through out the QDL Function Reference version 1.5 but itself does not a section in the document.
It also does not appear in the QDL workspace help.
Should those references instead be file_read()?

Correct. There were bad references to that. read_file was renamed a very long time ago but the section on query was not updated. Fixed.
