Nice that you mention it. I looked at that already when the cibuildwheel release came out. My conclusion was that it wouldn't really safe us much as we would still do some conditional action steps depending on whether we are on Linux or not.
Furthermore, this way, we can benefit from the GitHub action caching of the setup-uv action.
So I think the current setup is fine as it is. Feel free to disagree though 😌
