Pink Python Bot

A python bot which needs to be feeded 🐍

Requirements

• Python3
• pip

Optional (but recommended)

• A Twitter app account
• A Dialogflow account (in case of use it as NLP)
• A Telegram bot

Installation

$ git clone https://github.com/mtnalonso/pinkpython-bot.git
$ cd pinkpython-bot
$ pip install -r requirements.txt

To use Twitter, Telegram and Dialogflow, create a credentials.py file as follows:

CONSUMER_KEY = 'your_twitter_consumer_key'
CONSUMER_SECRET = 'your_twitter_consumer_secret_key'
ACCESS_TOKEN = 'your_twitter_access_token'
ACCESS_TOKEN_SECRET = 'your_twitter_access_token_secret'

TELEGRAM_TOKEN = 'your_telegram_bot_token'

# only necessary if using Dialogflow
DIALOGFLOW_ACCESS_TOKEN_DEVELOPER = 'your_dialogflow_dev_token'
DIALOGFLOW_ACCESS_TOKEN_CLIENT = 'your_dialogflow_prod_token'

To use rasa_nlu as NLP run:

$ sh setup.sh

Run

Server Mode

$ cd pinkpython
$ python3 pinkpython.py &

Single Channel Mode

To use only over a specific channel use the option -c or --channel. Shell channel is recommended for test/first run as no credentials are required (if using Rasa).

$ cd pinkpython
$ python3 pinkpython.py -c shell

Test

$ pip install -r test_requirements.txt
$ pytest
