Any chance this gets reviewed? Would be interesting for us as well, since we are enforcing some strict policies (Following the guidance of the CIS Benchmark) in our Kubernetes environments.

Same here! We're also enforcing strict policies in our environments.

It should be standard to set proper security defaults and let users override them.
