Is your suggested enhancement related to a problem? Please describe.

I'm again facing a situation where I'm unable to install a modpack or specific Forge version due to invalid SHA1. I know that this feature is important for security, but I can't do a lot of things. This has been quite frustrating for me.

Describe the solution you'd like

Display a pop-up whenever there are hash-related issues, offering users the option to proceed even in the presence of invalid hashes.

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • Correct the source of the hashes for Forge versions to ensure their accuracy
  • Introduce a setting that allows users to disable hash checking
