Add more info about startup activation settings

While testing #196, we should ensure we document in the README.md and in product settings/notifications what it means when the setting is changed, what we do to update each script startup., and a section for what to do for non-standard shells.

Notifications/prompts should also be expanded to include implications of the change in a user centric way.
