Benefit from using Black support in ms-python.python?

I am just wondering what the benefits are (if any) from using the Black support in the ms-python.python extension?

I think it would be good to explain that. All examples i could find for using Black in VS Code are for ms-python.python. Is this extension supposed to replace the support in ms-python.python?

Direct benefits are:

• It's much faster (as long as you don't specify the path to black, else it's the same)
• Black is included (so you don't have to install it)
• Supports formatting of unsaved file buffer, unlike python extension where we create temporary file to format.
• Supports notebook cell formatting

Indirectly:

• We can update this w/o updating the entire Python extension
• It's easier to contribute to since nearly all the code for this extension is written in Python

FYI we will be removing black support in the Python extension once we are happy with this extension.

• Python extension can be a little smaller. (It already carries a LOAD of stuff that could/should be extensions)
