The EMEP/MSC-W model version used for the EMEP status reporting of the year 2015 - rv4.8 - is released, together with a set of input data and a full year model results for the year 2013,
under GPL license v3.

This release contains the following set of information:

  • a complete set of 'input data' to allow for model runs for year 2013
  • the open source 'model code' of the EMEP/MSC-W model version rv4_8
  • 'model results' for the year 2013 for comparison of a successful run

Although all the aforementioned datasets can be retrieved directly from our
ftp server (ftp://ftp.met.no/projects/emep/OpenSource/201510/),
the preferred retrieval method is via the catalog tool:

catalog.py -R rv4_8

Evaluation model results included in this release can be found on the AeroCom project site as experiments EMEP_rv4.8os_171006AV_RGEECCAopenNoFF and EMEP_rv4.8os_171006AV_RGEECCAopenFF.
