you need to have a consequent white margin around the barcode....

  1. As I can hardly successfully ask product manufacturers (who print the barcode) to add a white margin around the barcodes on their products, what can I do so that barcodes as they appear in everyday's live (without this margin) can be read?

dunno, maybe you are better to buy a scanner software without this limitation

I tried scanning these codes with zxing-js library (https://github.com/zxing-js/library) and it works without any problems.

I think I know the root cause of this. It would be great if the authors or other could share the original images used for testing. Further more this issue shall now be tracked in a parent bug - #612

Closing this one.

Please feel free to reply directly in the parent issue.
