building the docs works nicely in CI now, artifact at https://github.com/mdhaber/marray/actions/runs/12527725759/artifacts/2367985117

I've split the deployment out to a separate workflow to only happen on pushes to main. I'll merge and see if that is happy.

you can build the docs locally with pixi run docs, and preview them with pixi run open-docs
