In addition to my studies, I volunteer as the Operations Development Lead at [CD Tech Chattanooga](https://www.linkedin.com/company/cd-tech-chattanooga/), and as a Digital Coach with the [Community Tech Network (CTN)](https://communitytechnetwork.org/). I'm also a proud member of the [Chattanooga Technology Council (ChaTech)](https://www.chatech.org/).

This site, built with the Jekyll-based [Chirpy Starter template](https://github.com/cotes2020/chirpy-starter) (thanks to [Techno Tim]( https://technotim.live/posts/jekyll-docs-site/) for the recommendation), will serve as both a learning repository and a platform for giving back to the community. This site serves as both a learning repository and a platform for giving back to the community, where I'll share insights from my courses, project updates, and reflections on my challenges and achievements in the tech world. The site was built from the Jekyll-based [Chirpy Starter template](https://github.com/cotes2020/chirpy-starter), following the excellent guide by [Tim Stewart (a.k.a. Techno Tim)]( https://technotim.live/posts/jekyll-docs-site/).

One of the driving forces behind my career shift is my belief in the power of technology to effect positive change. From fostering connections to combat loneliness, to empowering the disadvantaged with knowledge, to promoting improved healthcare, I see endless possibilities for tech to make a difference. I look forward to exploring these topics in future posts and hope to inspire others to join me in leveraging technology for good.
